​Martin Jones is based in Sheffield, UK. His paintings use a mixture of traditional media and digital techniques. Martin's recent work focuses on the post industrial landscape of South Yorkshire and Derbyshire's Peak District. He is interested in the way human interventions in the landscape intersect with the natural world.  Martin graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA in Painting and Printmaking in 1989 and has combined his painting practice with working in arts education ever since.
