Fund a Forest is a new ongoing project by artist Martin Jones
Martin Jones is a Sheffield based artist working across a range of media. Many of the images are drawn and painted on sites around South Yorkshire and The Peak District Traditional and digital prints and paintings of trees are created , oils, inks and digital methods. Please browse through the tree galleries above The works are available as original paintings or prints The project is seeking partnerships with a portion of the cost of each item sold funding the planting of new trees. |

It is 2050. We have been successful at halving emissions every decade since 2020. We are heading for a world that will be no more than 1.5C warmer by 2100 In most places in the world, the air is moist and fresh, even in cities. It feels a lot like walking through a forest and very likely this is exactly what you are doing. The air is cleaner than it has been since before the Industrial Revolution. We have trees to thank for that. They are everywhere.
